THE AGGRESSIVE MOTHER. EPISODE 4

As all these were happening, Chika's mother didn't notice anything.
As time went on, Chika noticed that she missed her period. She refused to tell her mother because of what she would do to her.
So she told her boyfriend about it. He knew he was responsible but he said he wasn't ready to start a family and that she should abort it.
She accepted because she couldn't imagine what her mother would do to her if she found out.
He told her to come over to his friend's place the following day.
In the morning, Chika wore her school uniform and left for Edu's friend's place.
When she got there, Edu gave her some pills to take. She took them and stayed there for some hours hoping that the pills would flush the pregnancy, but nothing happened. When it was time for her school's dismissal, she left.
She was worried but wouldn't let her mother notice it.
Few days later, she noticed the baby was still there.
She told Edu about it. He got more pills but to no avail.
Edu told her not to bother herself and that everything was under control.
He told her to meet him at his friend's place as usual.
Edu had earlier bought a bottle of traditional medicine from a local vendor at the market.
When she got there, he gave her the bottle of the medicine to drink.
"This is the surest, the vendor told me that it is very effective, finish the whole of it."
Chika collected it and drank, frowning her face because of its bitterness.
A few minutes after taking it. She started complaining of severe pains in her stomach.
It got intense and she started shouting. Edu told her to take it easy so that people wouldn't hear her voice. But she couldn't control it.
Suddenly blood started coming out from her private part. It continued nonstop. Out of fear, Edu left her and ran away.
She struggled and came outside and kept shouting. People were beginning to gather there and suddenly she fainted.
She was rushed to a nearby clinic but on getting there, the doctor said she was dead.
Those who recognised her called her mother.
When she got to the clinic, she couldn't believe her eyes.
She wailed.
She requested to know what happened to her daughter.
The doctor told them the cause of her death.
She fell on the floor and wept bitterly.
She blamed herself for not being a good mother.
Chika's mother had every opportunity to raise her well but she wouldn't let go of her past pains.
When your daughter doesn't feel loved at home, she may fall into wrong hands which may result in severe consequences.
Mothers especially should promote open and honest communication by being friendly with their daughters.
